Gobi-Elstei 7 days
The Gobi - famous for its wealth of dinosaur fossils, one of the few remaining unscarred areas on earth, and the exotic home to many of the world’s endangered species (such as the wild ass, snow leopards, the Gobi bear)- welcomes you. Familiarize yourself with the centuries-old lifestyles of the Gobi camel-breeders; ride the two-humped (Bactrian) camels; visit the Yoliin Am, a part of magnificent Gurvan Saikhan Mountains in the Gobi desert. Then, relax at our Elstei tourist camp, a haven of comfort and peace amidst a unique and a beauteous landscape while learning to ride horses. Here you can also visit the historic monuments of Tonyukuk, erected in the year 744 in honor of the minister of the Orkhon Turkic State, which prospered between 4th and 7th centuries A.D.
